Downie To Undergo Season Ending Knee Surgery 



DENVER – The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that forward Steve Downie will undergo season-ending knee surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament.


Downie, 25, suffered the injury during Tuesday night’s 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings at Pepsi Center.
